Demographics: So What?

  The important skills we learned in social studies are: 

• Graphing number data.

• Read and interpret graphs.

• Use statistics  to explain  the past and predict the future.

 In the world, the population of the people are slowly increasing, as there are low death rate and high birth rate. But there are not just positive aspects of the population, also the negative things. 
 The issues related to the demographics will quite impact our life in many ways such as family, economic, job or environment etc. As the population of the worldwide is growing slowly, in the future, there will be advantages and disadvantages depend on the overpopulation.
 To the family, due to the overpopulation, lots of family will have only one child, because to prevent the overpopulation, the families will have to control how big their family will be. It's also due to the education, because as the population grows, there will be more children compete for the good grades and all of them will try harder to be better than everyone.
 To the job, it will be harder to get the job, as there are more people try to get the jobs. Although they will get more money as there are more workers to earn money, it will be more harder to get the job. But the advantage is, that the technologies will be more developed as there are more people to work.
Also, to the environment, there will be more climate changes and pollution as there will be more people using vehicles. There are many side effects of the overpopulation, aka disadvantages.
 But there are not only negative things, but also the positive aspects. Like, if there are more people, there are people to work for the technologies, media or medical developments. For example, there might be a device that you can just send emails without typing and just with thinking!
 Also, if there are more people, there will be less death rate as there are many people living. It's good to not have the low death rate, as it means that few people die in one day.
